Amy and Lyndsey have organized a fun new sew-along using Rashida's newest book, Zakka Style. Rashida's first book was so awesome that I even made something from it. So, I'm totally stoked to be a stop in the sew-along and share the details so that you'll join us!
24 fabulous bloggers and you will sew through the book from start to finish. The sew along starts Monday April 2nd with the first project in the book. A different blogger will introduce a new project and inspiration every Monday until September 10th. In the week between projects, you and Lyndsey will have time to sew. And don't stress, the projects are simple but lovely.

You will need a copy of the book to participate. Luckily the book is available for about $10 for 24 patterns! Great value, if you ask me. And you can get it in eBook format (my favourite!). Lyndsey put together a list of places that you can buy the book and details about the sponsors and PRIZES over here.
I hope that you'll sew along, be it all 24 patterns or just the ones that you really love. This strikes me as a good opportunity to get some early christmas present sewing accomplished.
Although my week isn't until July, I snapped a few pics with my phone last while I was thinking about possible combinations. I doubt I'll go with any of these but it helped to get me thinking.

This is one mega-long brilliant sew-along! I love the book, so this is going to be amazing to follow x
ReplyDeleteSome of my very favorite people will be a part of this one (you included, of course!). I know you'll do a great job!
